Important details Baby, Bedrooms, Children, Fabrics, rooms - I'll get to the important details first...I was blessed with a healthy little girl on Thursday, 1.21.10. We are overjoyed and of course over-tired...Her name is Emerson Elizabeth and she's just perfect. Thank you for all your sweet and caring comments; they were quite nice to read from my hospital bed! I now have girlie, girlie, girlie things on my mind..here are some of my current favorites...

Feeling Inspired - Spring Florals Trend..

It's been very, very chilly in Boston {all over a good deal of the U.S. actually}. I like to cozy down by a fire and fly down a slope now and then, but I'm really a warm weather girl at heart! I don't have any travel plans this winter so I often day dream about the sunny + warm Spring days ahead. I'm currently loving that flowers are popping up everywhere for Spring 2010!
Happy Tuesday!

Fabric Love..

I met with a wonderful new client on Saturday who had a tear sheet picturing Amanda Nisbet's {I think it's safe to say we all admire Amanda's beautifully detailed work} fabric collection. I'm so glad she reminded me of how great Amanda's fabric are. I often use graphic, colorful fabrics in my work. These fit that bill perfectly.

I think this yellow and white one is my favorite {above}

Studio Bon for Schumacher

I was very excited to learn yesterday that the fun, colorful, graphic handprinted fabrics from StudioBon will be arriving at Schumacher soon!  Bonnee Sharp is the creative genius behind these "etchy florals, graphic geometrics and delicate symmetries." I've just presented one of her designs to a client for a little girl's bedroom that I am working on. Enjoy!

LOVING..

this Sister Parish Design, Inc. fabric {Burma-available in a # of colors...i'm currently using it for large pillows in a project}
which in a loose way reminds me of this beautiful note card from Linda and Harriet. {thanks Pink Wallpaper for reminding me of this great source - I am on the hunt for some simple "client" note cards!}

Latest Collection..

Manuel Canovas fabrics are always on my "hit list" when I shop the Boston Design Center. Here's a peek at their latest collection. The fish print is fun and the colors are beautiful..Of course the computer never does anything justice.
