Ideas For A Happy Weekend

Happy weekend, friends! I hope it is as beautiful and warm where you are as it is here! This weekend I will be spendings lots of time outside: enjoying the sunshine, having breakfast with a friends, visiting a beautiful interior store slash café, and strolling down my neighbourhood's 'courtyard flea market'. And maybe I will find a new happy goodie for my home.

So this week I want to warmly recommend to add a bit of happiness to your home. Your choice what it is - a big smile, a warm hug, a pop of colour, new decoration. Just let it be happy! For a rough idea here are four of my Instagram shots from my home. Oh, and if you want to see which design classic I would wish to have, check my guest post for 'Furniture Friday' on Canoe Design. Have a great one, folks!

Ideas For A Happy Weekend

A long and happy weekend is here! What a fabulous opportunity to enjoy life to its maximum. As you might have noticed I like to come back to the topic of 'happiness' rather frequently (I count on you and your comments when I am getting overly obsessed). But I just wanted to share this little thought with you that came to my mind while I was walking back from work yesterday. I tend to take the same route everyday. Which gets a bit tedious I must admit. Then one day I changed the way to work and it was all so different. Just because I changed a little habit that I've got so used to. Yup, I changed a little pattern and found myself a bit happier than before. Maybe it is all it takes, from time to time, to boost and invigorate our happiness - to change patterns. Leaving the beaten track and discovering new, winding ways. In all aspects of life. How about starting it right now? Whatever pattern you decide to change, I wish you a fantastic and happy weekend! Oh, and since I am not only a happy blog but a happy interior blog, how about these fantabulous patterns by Ashley Goldberg? Swoon!

Ideas For A Happy Weekend

This weekend I am off again. Packed my suitcase, took the train, headed off to Austria. To meet my family and friends. To play with my nieces and nephews. To catch up with my mum. To share my happiness. As much as I love my quiet moments (which are few), when I can cocoon in my world and be all by myself with a good book, a movie, a cup of tea or coffee, sharing my thoughts and emotions with others is crucial. And I am thankful to all the people who surround me, who love me, who support me. Cause after all - happiness is only real when shared. Right? Will you share your happiness this weekend? Have a happy one!

Blogger Happiness

Today is a great day to tell you about how happy I am with blogging. I had a rather tough day at work. Lots of tasks, tight time schedules, calls, meetings, frustration. A long grey and stressful Monday. Then I got home pretty late, pretty beat. Not in the mood for anything but snuggling up on my sofa and watching TV. I was even uninspired to blog. Not a happy day I'd say. But then, my cell phone vibrated and I read a few tweets discussing my blog with the hashtag #blogblitz. Suddenly, there were really big names talking about my blog and suggesting Happy Interior Blog as the design blog of the day - a great blogger support idea by IAMTHELÄB. I was so honored and so happy - all over sudden I was the old me, the happy, bright and optimistic person.

And this is the magic power of blogging. It is the community. It is the blogger support. It is YOU, the readers, each and every of your comments, tweets, likes. This made my day and made me forget all the stress and rough times. I am so grateful to have such a great and ongoing support by all of you. Even though my blog is still very young and thus referred to as my baby by myself (I am afraid, I will keep calling my blog 'my baby' for the rest of my life), I am so happy to be regularly visited by all of you, to receive ongoing feedbacks and comments, support and love. Blogger happiness galore! Thank you all so much!
