Today's 'plat du jour' will add a good deal of happiness to your home - let me introduce you to the online shop 'Happy Home'. Based in France this shop has not only attracted me with its happy name but also with its adorable assortment of goodies - whether you'd like to opt for a new cushion, something cheerful for your kitchen, or some colourful bliss for your desk or office, you won't leave unsatisfied.

I am in love with the beautiful black and white cards, the abundance of masking tape, the cute paper bags. And the best news - it's sales time till the end of July. Anything you fancy from this happy shop?

Happily Ever After: Introducing 'Presive'

Up to now I've usually presented stylists, interior designers and photographers in this Friday blog series. Today, I am introducing an online platform/shop named 'Presive' to you. I got in touch with one of the founders on Twitter and Facebook and we caught up in a chat where he explained the reason why Presive was born. And I really liked the idea. So here it is!

Presive is a Barcelona based project and founded by three smart minds who immersed in the Catalan design scene, finding the struggles of the average designer to be incredibly tough. The designers they had met had difficulties finding customers outside their area, and were battling in an industry that favors distributors not designers. Thus, local and good design is hardly ever accessible to a wider audience. In order to change this challenging situation, Presive was brought to existence.

The team of Presive believes that behind every authentic product there is a person and a story. However, gaining access to the millions of showrooms, galleries and websites around the world is difficult. This is where they come in - they work directly with designers to bring their products to the forefront, making them available for a limited time on their site. This keeps the online store fresh and allows designers to grow their business organically and sustainably. A great idea, isn't it?

I've picked a few favorites for you - most of them are on sale now, some will be featured soon! Check it out here. Happy Friday!

Happy Spring With Rowen & Wren

One great thing with the change of seasons is the urge to redecorate the home, at least for us with a strong passion for interiors and home decorating, right? I am in the middle of redecorating my tiny 32 square meters and as usual I am looking all around for inspiration. On my ramble I've stopped over at Rowen & Wren, a beautiful UK based online store with a refined selection of home decoration.

Browsing through their new spring/summer collection - organised in three themes, Timeless Living, Refined Rural and Distant Home - I got so inspired that I've decided to share my happiness with you! What do you think of this collection? Isn't it just beautiful? Here's to spring!

Toast? Yes, Please!

Who can say 'no' to a toast? Especially if it's the delightful British apparel and house & home brand 'Toast'. Their new spring/summer 2012 collection is now online and packed with colourful and beautiful house and home goodies - browsing through their online store is like enjoying a fresh summer breeze on the coast. Hamam inspired towels, wooden bath accessories, bright ceramics for the kitchen, refined bedlinen - an abundance of choice makes it difficult to choose favorites. I picked a few that could go right into my little apartment. Do you have any favorites?

New Shop: Mignon Kitchen Co.

Do you know that feeling when you click on a link, a website pops open, and from the very first sight you know: I enjoy this, I love this, I so need to blog this! Well, that exactly happened yesterday when I clicked on the link to a very new online shop called Mignon Kitchen Co. I was reading the great Odessa May Blog of one of my US blogger friends, Jennifer Prince, and discovered this little gem. Now tell me, isn't this sheer happiness for the eyes? Mignon means cute in French and yes, this shop and its products are more than just cute.

Mignon is Seattle based and run by Rachel Ball with - I can tell - lots of passion and love for making and sharing food. Rachel also writes the beautiful Elephantine blog - check it for more enchanting inspiration. The shop carries a selection of curated goods for prepping, baking, serving and sharing food, from everyday tools to little indulgences. You will find an inspiring assortment of kitchen tools, pantry pretties, tabletop accessories and packaging ideas.

I really love to discover beautiful new shops and websites and this one is a perfect example. Starting from the fantastic logo design and typography, the amazing product photography to the refined selection of products - this is exactly how an online shop should be. Thumbs up and triple like! What do you think, friends?

New Discovery: Rie Elise Larsen

This week I have discovered an adorable and inspiring design brand from Copenhagen, Denmark. Rie Elise Larsen is an established brand and known beyond Scandinavia's borders. The faces behind this Danish interiors and decoration brand are Rie Elise Larsen herself, a known stylist who has worked for a wide range of fashion and interior design magazines – among others Bo Bedre, Boligmagasinet, and various cookery books. She established the brand back in 2008 and a year later Mette Brix-Riisager joined as partner and managing director.

The winter collection 2012 continues with their bright trademark classics but has also been broadened in several ways. The whole collections bursts with vibrant colours and typical Scandinavian designs - eye-candy is the least I can say. The paper products have always been a trademark of Rie Elise Larsen thus you can find more than 50 different designs and patterns of wrapping paper. What a great source of inspiration for the Christmas season! Moreover, I am in love with their candleholders and those adorable little owls. Anyone else here loving their products?

My Little Xmas Wish List

1/2/3/4/5/6

Can you believe it is December 1st today? I am getting into the real Christmas mood these days with all the decorated stores, traditional German Christmas markets dotted all around Munich, the scents of mulled wine and gingerbread abound. And I love shopping for Christmas presents (yes, despite the horrid masses sometimes). And I do love to jot down little Christmas wish lists for myself. To celebrate the start of December I compiled a little visual Xmas wish list here. In addition to the amazing Sparrow & Co. finds from yesterday's blog post, these are the things I'd like to see in my Christmas stocking. Are you ready for the festive season?

5 Happy Inspirations From Sparrow & Co.

Today's '5 Happy Inspirations' blog post is entirely dedicated to a fantastic new online store - Sparrow & Co. I happened to get in touch with the creative mind behind Sparrow & Co., Samuel Sparrow, on Twitter. While glancing his fine assortment of goods prior to opening the online store, I fell in love with his scented candles and ordered one immediately. Yesterday I was very excited to receive his tweet announcing the opening of his online store. The assortment encompasses a very carefully chosen and sophisticated range of beautiful articles for a happy & stylish home. The collection has an emphasis on unique, handmade products inspired by traditional crafting skills from various countries around the globe. I had a tough time picking only five goodies (I skipped the scented candles as I've already ordered them) and here are my personal favorites. Aren't these simply gorgeous? I am in such a wishing spree, tomorrow I will post more goodies that are making it right up my Xmas wish list!
