Happily Ever After: Autumn With Rowen & Wren

We can feel September approaching. And autumn. But with every new season there is something to look forward to. Like all the new autumn collections that keep popping up and that boost our craving for a little change in our homes. Changing the colour palette, textures, patterns goes hand in hand with a changing feeling induced by the season's changing.

With Rowen & Wren, one of my favorite British home accessories brand, this autumn will be everything but dull. Nature inspired details bring the outdoor freshness into the homes, mellow hues of white, grey, blue, mint and aubergine diffuse a calm atmosphere with warmth and sensibility. With this charming collection I am more than ready to welcome a new season in my home. Are you too?

My Little Xmas Wish List

1/2/3/4/5/6

Can you believe it is December 1st today? I am getting into the real Christmas mood these days with all the decorated stores, traditional German Christmas markets dotted all around Munich, the scents of mulled wine and gingerbread abound. And I love shopping for Christmas presents (yes, despite the horrid masses sometimes). And I do love to jot down little Christmas wish lists for myself. To celebrate the start of December I compiled a little visual Xmas wish list here. In addition to the amazing Sparrow & Co. finds from yesterday's blog post, these are the things I'd like to see in my Christmas stocking. Are you ready for the festive season?

Let's Get Inspired: 5 Happy Inspirations

Hello friends! This week I am inspired by nature. Isn't it just perfect how we can bring a bit of nature into our interiors with adequate home decoration? I spotted five lovely inspirations that I wanted to share with you!

1. This beautiful mango wood bowl by Toast makes me dream of an exotic dinner in Asia.

2. How about adding some nature inspired patterns like this floral one by lab partners? I like the pink and green colour combination.

3. Now this is a DIY project! A quirky pencil holder made of a piece of wood as seen on 'The Sweetest Occasion'. Get your drillers ready!

4.  Rowen and Wren is THE address when it comes to nature inspired home decoration in muted hues. I love these glass lined birch votives.

5. Succulents, succulents, succulents. How about adding some of these beauties to your home (as seen on Carrie Can)? By the way: In Serbian, the name for succulents means 'Home Guard'. Isn't that yet another reason to get some - like now?
