Cozy Chic..

I'm loving ALL things organic and cozy lately. Jennifer Aniston's home in March's issue of Architectural Digest is no exception! The two year renovation turned out a welcoming, uber- stylish home with just the right amount of old Hollywood Glamour! LOVE..............it.

My bags are packed....

I'll keep this short and sweet since I'm leaving for the hospital to have my baby {eek} in about twenty minutes. First off, thank you for all your kind messages, baby name suggestions and well wishes over the past week! I appreciate every one of them!!

Secondly, I thought I'd leave you with a little eye candy while I'm gone...I don't know about you, but I am definitely a bit weary of the over the top "Hollywood Regency" look.. What never grows old though is a sense of fabulous, sophisticated style. The home pictured below is the epitome of chic but still contains a sense of calm, order and fun! Enjoy and Cheers....I'll be back to posting in about a week or two!!!! Julie

New York designer Philip Gorrivan helped Victoria Webster with her home. I've long admired his use of color and ability to mix period pieces and patterns.

Can you stand?

how AMAZING Windsor Smith's home is??? I know a number of you have probably seen this in House Beautiful or via the blogging world, but I couldn't resist posting it. That mid- night blue kitchen {although I did LOVE her turquoise floored kitchen too} and graphic foyer - are beyond words

LAYER THE DETAILS...

I love the way designer Lindsey Harper layers the details in her work. These photographs are of her New York apartment.
The foyer of your home is the perfect place for wall paper! {Quadrille wallcovering}

You don't need an office to have a centralized tack board! Lindsey uses hers for cards and daily reminders! {It's perfect and unexpected above her bar}

Layering unique and beautiful objects creates a space that feels so personalized! Lindsey also uses animal {zebra} print details throughout her home. Repeating pattern and color throughout a home or room enchances cohesive! This little zebra is precious!

This small snake skin table transforms this typical bathroom!

How do you feel about this over the top headboard? It's kind of fun.

I always love the mix of blue and yellow.

FRIDAY FINDS..I'M LOVING...

I saw this movie during my holiday break, and still can't stop thinking about it!!! It's an amazing love story, see it if you have the chance!! LOVED IT!

I've mentioned in the past that I'm a huge fan of over sized jewelry, check out the fabulous pieces by Tom Binns I'm currently coveting.

I had a reader remark she loved the light fixtures pictured above {see 1.5.09, Edit and Organize post}; coincidentally I found something very similar on Circa Lighting's site. They have a vast selection of lighting!! The Paris flea market chandelier is new to their collection this month.

More evidence that green and royal blue {my 2009 color predictions} are HOT, HOT, HOT. These photos via Domino magazine are of Mary McDonald's crazy gorgeous guest home!!!! For more eye candy visit Domino!! I can't even begin to tell you how much I love her place. Perfection.....
